White Tea
White tea contains higher levels of catechin, polyphenolic antioxidant plant metabolites, than green tea due to its lack of processing. Catechin concentration is greatest in fresh, unbroken and unfermented tea leaves. Furthermore, one study examining the composition of brewed green and white teas found that white tea contained more gallic acid, theobromine, and caffeine.

A study at Pace University in 2004 showed white tea had more anti-viral and anti-bacterial qualities than green tea.

Organic Cane Sugar
We use Florida Crystals® organic cane sugar, which is the only certified organic cane sugar grown and milled in the U.S. These sugars are carefully milled on the day of harvest, with one simple crystallization. The juice is pressed from sun-ripened sugarcane, washed, filtered, and crystallized – right on the farm. Our organic cane sugar is minimally processed thereby retaining more of the natural flavor of sun-sweetened sugarcane.

Organic Pomegranate Juice
This fruit contains naturally high levels of polyphenols – compounds that aid in the fight against various health maladies ranging from premature aging to certain types of cancer.

A study in Israel found that Pomegranate reduced the risk of atherosclerosis. Other recent studies relating to the fruit have uncovered that pomegranates have a positive effect on heart health, prostate cancer and arthritis.

Pomegranate juice may contain almost three times the total antioxidants compared with the same quantity of green tea or red wine. Research has shown it to have potent antiatherogenic effects in healthy humans. In addition, pomegranate juice has been shown to inhibit serum angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). ACE inhibitors prevent certain enzymes in the body from constricting blood vessels. In addition to high levels of free radical fighting polyphenols and other antioxidants, pomegranate also contains high concentrations of ellagic acid. Clinical tests have shown that ellagic acid may inhibit the growth of cervical cancer cells and arrest the growth of cancer.

Regular consumption of pomegranate juice may also enhance the quality and mobility of sperm, suggests a new study published in Clinical Nutrition. The antioxidant-rich fruit has been linked to improved heart health, and claims that it may offer protection against prostate cancer, Alzheimer's, and may slow cartilage loss in arthritis. It is these antioxidants, and particularly compounds like punicalagin, which accounts for about half of the fruit's antioxidant ability, that are the cause of these proposed health benefits.

Pomegranate extract, high in ellagitannins, appears to concentrate in the prostate after administration and protect against prostate cancer cell growth in mice, according to recent research reported in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry.

Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit juice contains alkaloids, including Harman, which has blood pressure lowering, sedative and antispasmodic action. Passion fruit is a good source of fiber and relieves muscle tension and anxiety.

Pineapple
Pineapple contains a proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which digests food by breaking down protein. There is significant evidence pointing to the anti-inflammatory benefits of bromelain.

Consumers of pineapple have also claimed that pineapple has benefits for some intestinal disorders; others claim that it helps to induce childbirth when a baby is overdue.

Pineapple is a good source of manganese as well as containing significant amounts of Vitamin C and Vitamin B1.
